Date :10-Jun-2016

Is dry hair your major concern? Tired of using expensive products? Here are some natural ways to treat your dry hair:

Olive Oil:

Oiling and massaging your hair not only cures dry hair, but also increases the blood circulation to the scalp. Olive oil is a source of vitamin E and is effective on dry hair.  Take few drops of olive oil and warm it up. Part your hair and apply the oil on the scalp as well as the hair. Wrap it up using a shower cap so that the moisture is retained.  Wash it off after an hour with a mild shampoo. Do not forget to use a conditioner. Follow this application thrice a week for faster results.

Bananas:

They are good for overall health of the body. You can choose 2 ripe bananas to make the hair pack. Mash these bananas and add few drops of olive oil to it. Add 2 spoons of honey to moisturize the hair. Start applying them on your tresses such that the entire portion is covered. It will slightly be sticky, but you got to bear it.  Cover it with a shower cap and wash it after 60 minutes.  Wash it with lukewarm water so that the pack comes out easily. Use a mild shampoo and a conditioner.

Eggs:

They’re said to strengthen the hair roots apart from repairing the damaged hair. They are a great source of proteins and lecithin. Extract the egg yolk from the eggs and pour it in a  container. You can choose the number of eggs depending upon the volume of your hair. Add 2 teaspoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of honey to it. Mix them well and apply it on your manes. Cover it with hot towel for 30  minutes. Use a mild shampoo and conditioner to get rid of the egg odour. Apply this twice a week for better results.

Beer:

You can add shine to your hair by exposing your tresses to beer. It repairs the hair cuticles and nourishes the hair follicles.  Store some beer in a spray bottle and use it on your tresses. You can either dilute it with water and use it as a final rinse. Ensure that you deal with the beer odour.

Avocado:

Allow your hair to get some proteins and Vitamins. Take a ripe avocado and extract the pulp out of it. You can add few drops of oil to it so that the stickiness of avocado reduces. Apply the avocado paste on your hair and leave it for an hour or so. Allow it to dry. You can wrap it with a hot towel or use a shower cap so that the moisture is retained. Shampoo and condition it later.

These are some home remedies to deal with dry hair. The results are slightly time consuming, but changes are for sure. Have patience and be positive while you carry out these hair remedies. Do share your feedback with us.
